From ballet to ensemble singing, Maria is no stranger to the stage beginning early in life. A published author, she handles the lyrical compositions which come from the heart. With amazing range and control, she can carry a soft ballad, or throw down on the Dio cover "Rainbow In The Dark." Maria is married and resides in southwest Missouri with her husband, Greg.

For over 30 years, Greg has had sticks in his hands. Beginning in church and middle school marching band, he developed a passion for drumming - and it shows! A 20 year hiatus to raise kids and build a career in the trucking industry did nothing to dampen his fire. Retired, he returned to his first love of drumming. Always learning, he currently studies virtually with Tommy Igoe (renowned jazz drummer and educator) and Todd Sucherman (sessions player and drummer for the band, Styx). His influences include, Ronnie Tutt, Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, and Todd Sucherman.

The late 80s found Jace in Fort Worth, Texas exploring the guitar after receiving his first at 17. Like most of musicians, garage bands came first until moving to Missouri and becoming involved in the local music scene in the 90s. All over the four-states for the past 25+ years saw Jace lend his string bending expertise to a Christian Cajun Bluegrass band and various Christian groups performing in and out of churches for a while. Played for the blues rock band, Blue Voodoo for years and tore it up with The Nightcrawlers for a decade. Sat in with the late Roy Clark's band for a tv show and has been in studio for two albums prior to Lavander Jonz with Far From Yesterday and a solo album. His influences include SRV, Jimmy Page, Eric Johnson, Clapton, BB KIng, Jeff Beck, and even Jim Croce and Preston Reed, and Jack Johnson. These have all contributed to establishing Jace as one of the best players around with blistering leads and solid rhythms that has given Lavander Jonz their signature sound and made us Nashville Recording artists.

More than just a bass player, Jake is the completion of our vision for this band. What he brings can only be fully appreciated by seeing us live.
